Trashy. That's the first impression most people get of Jeri. She's a little dirty and a little unkempt and the scent of sulfur usually hangs around her just a little. At least if she's been out hounding.

Because that's what she is, a hound. Hellhound, specifically.

Jericho doesn't go out of her way to seem tough or powerful so she can remain under the radar. Her human form is skinny and her hound form is red-eyed and a little mangy. Either way, all she really wants is to lounge in the sunshine and nap.

Jericho "Jeri" Heck is a hellhound, a mythical black dog, a guardian and agent of the underworld. Known in many cultures around the world, the hellhound is generally seen as more mysterious than vicious, and often a protector of the underworld or the spiritual world - but always as an ill omen, a promise of impending death.

ABILITIES

Besides superhuman strength, endurance, agility, and speed in both of her forms, Jericho has three supernatural abilities. After using any of these three abilities, the scent of sulfur hangs around her for anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending how hard she went with the ability. Using her abilities does tire her out, and she usually has to have a bit of a nap in either form for a while after she's done.

🔥 Hellhound
Jericho can transition between her usual human form and her hellhound form at will. Her hellhound form is that of a large black dog that looks like a mixture between a bloodhound and a great dane, with a short coat and standing around three and a half feet at the shoulder.

🔥 Evanescence
Being an ambassador between the spirit and physical worlds, and a gatekeeper of the latter, Jericho is capable of becoming intangible in either of her forms by passing into the spirit world and moving through it.

🔥 Hellfire
Three times a day she can blow a short blast of fire from her mouth about equivalent to a flamethrower. Much more frequently, she can light small flames from her fingertips or palms that are no larger than a lighter's flame. She's kind of a human Zippo.
